		<description>your cavalier probably does&#039;nt have a dipstick for checking the transmission fluid level, you may see a red coloured cap where you fill it, but wont find a dipstick, there is a nut on the passenger side of the case, up where the right axle comes out of it, you have to take it out , if trans is full, fluid will trickle out, if not, it wont.
probably is&#039;nt a good idea to check it as you have to jack the car up and support it somehow.............safely, and the vehical has to be sitting flat at the same time, it is best to drive it to a reputable garage and have them do this for you on a hoist, it should&#039;nt take very long,</description>
